Before any student at Airhead Institute learns a single AI tool, they take this pledge. Not a legal document. Not a checkbox. A real, spoken commitment to use AI responsibly. This is the foundation of everything we teach.
The Pledge — Read Aloud Before Every Class
I, [your name], pledge to use artificial intelligence as a force for good in my life, my community, and the world.
I understand that AI is a powerful tool — and that power comes with responsibility. I commit to using AI to create, learn, solve problems, and help others. I will not use AI to deceive, manipulate, harm, bully, deepfake, or invade the privacy of any person.
I understand that the choices I make with AI reflect my character. I will be honest about when I use AI and take ownership of the work I produce. I will stand against AI misuse when I see it, and I will hold myself and others accountable.
I am not just a user of AI. I am a steward of it.
This is my pledge. This is the Airhead Code.
Each pillar is a commitment. Together, they define what it means to be an ethical AI practitioner.
I will use AI tools to create, learn, solve problems, and lift others up. I will never use AI to hurt, threaten, intimidate, or cause pain to any person or group.
I will not pass off AI-generated work as entirely my own without disclosure. I will not use AI to deceive, mislead, or create false impressions about reality.
I will not use AI to collect, expose, or weaponize private information about others. I will treat people's data with the same respect I want for my own.
I will not use AI to generate fake images, videos, or audio of real people without their consent — especially to embarrass, defame, or manipulate them.
When I see AI being used to bully, deceive, or harm, I will speak up. Silence is not neutral. I am part of a community that holds itself accountable.
AI is powerful and evolving. I will stay curious, keep learning, and remain humble about what I don't know. I will update my understanding as the technology changes.
AI is the most powerful tool most people will ever touch. Power without responsibility is chaos. We believe the best way to prevent AI misuse isn't to restrict access — it's to build a culture of accountability from the very first lesson.
When students take this pledge out loud, in front of their peers, something shifts. They stop thinking of AI as a toy and start thinking of it as a responsibility. That's the whole point.
